Rona Buttry joined the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce/Delaware Advancement Corporation/Horizon Convention Center staff as Controller in 1998. Rona worked in private industry before joining the Muncie organization, having worked as an Accounting Consultant for Muncie Delphi Automotive Systems, Anderson Delphi Automotive Systems and Delco Remy America. Her initial career began in Computer Operations at General Motors Delco Remy Division in Anderson. Upon graduation from Anderson College (University) in 1980 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, she moved into Delco’s Finance area, working in various Financial departments.

Rona is a graduate of the Academy for Community Leadership and serves as a mentor in the Chamber’s Project Leadership program. She is a member of WIBU and active in her local church and community, serving as church pianist, organizing mission trips for her congregation and helping provide disaster relief.

Rona and husband Cole reside in Middletown, Indiana, and are the parents of two sons.
