Indiana Finance Company Relocating Corporate Offices to Daleville
Muncie, IN (January 14, 2008) - The Vision 2011 - Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance announced today that Indiana Finance Company (IFC) has outgrown its existing facility and will be relocating its corporate headquarters and expanding its customer service center operations to Daleville. IFC will locate in the Heartland Business Center. Indiana Finance Company is established as the premier auto financing lender in central Indiana.
Bob Okeley, President and Chief Executive Officer noted that the company chose the Heartland Business Center over another Indiana community because of the Center’s strategic location and infrastructure along with the collaborative efforts of local
government and economic development officials. “We expect to be in operation in Daleville by July and are very excited to be part of the Delaware County community. We are appreciative of the local effort to attract our company,” noted Okeley.
IFC is targeted to double its employment from 45 to 90 between 2007 and 2010. The overall rate of pay plus benefits for all jobs will average over $44,000. Annual payroll, when all new jobs are added, it is projected at $3.9 million. Capital investment in the new center is expected to be $1.3 million. Delaware County provided $35,000 in
relocation assistance.
Indiana Finance Corporation is currently headquartered in Chesterfield, Indiana. IFC is the financial services arm for Oak Motors. Oak Motors has locations in Muncie, Anderson and Indianapolis.
